Put That on a Sweater and Wear It: Graphic Sweatshirts

The graphic crew neck sweatshirt trend is still going strong from last year, and I’m totally on board, but it makes me wish I had the motivation/creativity to buy cotton crew necks and put clever words and phrases on them.  I like how, depending on the graphic, there’s potential to turn a casual sweatshirt into something chic.  I like that you can wear it like you’re wearing a sweatshirt or wear it like you’re wearing a sweater, which sounds oh-so-much classier, dontcha think?

I mean, anything in French practically screams class to us tawdry Americans, but I like the idea of wearing a nice collared shirt, dark skinnies, and ballet flats with a sweater that screams RIOT.  Oh, irony.

Alas, I’ve never been crafty and always been lazy, so I’ll just continue to buy $100 sweatshirts.  AND LOVE IT.
