As I head off to Michigan tonight for some family time, I can’t help but smile as I look at the weather forecast, which predicts cooler temperatures just for this weekend. It’s 93 degrees in southeast Michigan as I write this, but they know I’m coming, and they know I’m packing my rolling bag with sweaters so they’re adjusting the meteorology accordingly.
With that in mind, how about some ribbed knits to consider? Ribbing is everywhere right now, as is texture in general. It can help create a flattering line on form-fitting knits. Also, I’m feeling the boxy silhouette I’ve been seeing so much of–almost like the one pictured below.
It’s all in the details.
Ribbing on a knit dress elongates the body, creating the effect of a long and lean silhouette.
The cropped look is still in for Fall. I’m pretty much dying over this Zara Cropped Ribbed Jumper–so much so that I can’t decide if I like the navy or mustard better.
