So, who cares if it was predictable? Elie Saab does feminine and floral and lacy better than anyone.
I’ve thought for some time now that if I ever get married, I want to get married in an Elie Saab dress. Such an occassion, however, would mean Hell had frozen over, and I’d have to do something non-traditional and opt for a non-white dress. Then Blair Waldorf wore a mint green Elie Saab dress and suddenly a fictitious wedding had soured my equally fictitious one.
While streaming the Elie Saab show in Paris earlier this week, I didn’t even know how to go about choosing my favorites, because every single look was perfect. There were the designer’s signature feminine touches of lacy florals and sparkles, jewel tones and pastels (i’m swooning over jade green and magenta), deep v’s (flat chests, rejoice!), classic silhouettes, and long lines. And everything was flawless. I mentioned that, right?
I mean, I just can’t with this.
Although my attempt to choose favorites resulted in choosing the majority, you can view the complete collection on Fashionising.com.
